We have written a few CMS scripts (cvsauto) that we would like to have run on some of our supervisor PC's.

Besides walking the user through the 'Scripting - Set User' process, does anyone know an easier way to do this, via a script file of some sort?

Also, I would like a way to 'undo' this once the user shuts down CMS.

Thanks for your help

we have some buttons setup on the toolbars of some of our managers. These are set to run a .bat file which in turn executes a .cvsauto script file located on a shared server. You could also set up a similar script to undo the chnages automatically by using a windowsd scheduler to run it at the end of the day. John

Thanks for this post!! One question I have is, some of my .cvsauto files that are not short DOS names (i.e. Call Center Reports.cvsauto) If I take the spaces out of the file name, I can get the command to work. How can I run this report in the batch file, without changing all of my file names?

Thanks for your help,

Neil

Try executing your command surrounded in quotes

i.e. "c:\test\report with spaces.cvsauto"

I found that these scripts are little programs. I also found a nifty little program that will launch these scripts at any time. These can be launched daily hourly monthly ETC. The program is freeware and is available at This works very well

Hope this helps
