CMS Restore

Last week our CMS crashed and when trying to retrieve the data, we we abel to get everything but the 31st.
We do daily, weekly and monthly and cumulative reports. This is the second time in 2 years this has happened to us. Without spending a lot of money, can anyone offer suggestions to other systems? We have an S8710 and CTI, which no one knows how to use to it's fullest.

Can you descirbe ur query ?
are u looking for change of reporting tool? or you need to understand how best u can utilize the existing solution available in ur premises.
also can u let me know how many users have been configured in the system?

What we are looking for is another way of capturing our data from our call center. We have approx 30 programs running and need to send reports to clents on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. CMS doesn't capture all the info we would like to have so we're running 2 and 3 reports to capture the pieces we need, then putting that into another. Very convoluted process. Plus the fact that we've had issues with the system itself crashing and losing the data forever. This too effects the reports on a cumulative basis.

Search the posts for the CMS ODBC interface. This will give you access to the historical data you seem to need.

If you don't want to spend the money on that, you could look into automating the collection of CMS data from Excel or Access VBScripting which is basically free.

Or you can look at automating the execution of your extract reports via CMS Supervisor scripting along with the Windows task scheduler.
