CMS link down

Hi, I am struggling with a customer’s CMS link ,it has been set up properly but after turning CMS on, the link does not come up. Given below is the capture of /cms/pbx/acd1/spierr,

14:10:32 [00] TCP OPERATIONAL
14:10:32 [00] PBX WSA
14:10:32 [00] SESS DATAX
14:10:32 [00] PBX RTCS
14:12:32 [00] PBX RTCS timer expired
14:41:32 [00] PBX RTCS timer expired

Can somebody help what will be the cause??
 
A few things to check:

Is 'mis' bsied in the PBX?
Can you ping the CMS from the PBX?
Can you ping the PBX from the CMS?
If you are using the 2nd NIC on the CMS for the PBX/CMS link have you built the route?
If you status the link used for the CMS in the PBX what does it show?

check the etc/hosts file. make sure the switch name/ip address is in the file. If you can send screen shots of your setup I may be able to help you here.

Hi, thanks for replying..Our avaya vendor technician came and resolved the isseue after editing etc/host file...
Can you guys help in understand what is the correct format of writing IP/subnet etc/netmask file??...assuming i have IP=198.168.x.x with subnet mask=255.255.255.0
