CMS database

Hi all,
My customer wants to be sure that CMS backup is working fine.
He wants to restore the CMS database backup on his non-CMS server Informix Database and asks me to give him all the details he needs.
As I have no idea if it is possible and how to do that, can you help me if you have any experience ?
