We used to go to the time and expense of manuals for our supervisors, but the on-line help for CentreVu is exceptional. We've transitioned to our own version of a scaled-down "training" manual for supervisors with basics on how to use the system; pull reports; script reports; change skills. Then we spend about 4 hours reviewing all the reports with them and as we do that we also teaching them to use the F1 help function to show them where to find the information related to the report they are pulling.

We found it to be easier for the end-user to use because their questions are typically about a specific report and this allows easy access to definitions and calculations on the report they're looking at. The information is in the book, but rather than searching for the answer they need, they would pick-up the phone and call us for a quick answer before. Depending on the number of sites/people you support, those "quick" calls can add up!
