Hi All,

I have moved to a site where the background administration has been left a little untidy.

New agents are added to the switch and then to CMS dictionary as per normal procedures.

Sadly it would appear that when agents have left they've been deleted off of the switch but not removed from the CMS dictionary.

Consequently we have just over 3000 agents on the switch and 10,000 agent login ID's set up in the CMS dictionary.

Is there a way to either remove all the unnecessary dictionary entries and if so could someone tell me how it's best done.

We have a Sunblade 150 running CMS R13

Not particularly hopeful but any advice is appreciated

I've accomplished the silimar tasks in the past by directly updating (loading or deleting) the Informix Database table "synonyms" on CMS where all the agent loginID records are defined. You need root access to Informix DBACCESS utility with same basic SQL statements to get this done.
