We would like to use Crystal Reports also for reporting.
CMS is on a Sun machine.
Has anyone been able to connect to the dbase?
If so, please tell me how you did it.

Kind regards,
Age de Jong

we use the odbc 3.2 for CMS add-on from avaya.
comcode was 108602442 (i think)
server component was installed by our vendor on the CMS and client install/config is pretty easy.

seems to work well. have not seen anything buggy with it to date.

We do exactly what you are describing. Do you have ODBC on your server?

Age,

ODBC is een optie, maar ook External Call History zoe een optie zijn. Please let me know if the information that was provided is helpfull.

Thanks for the answers.

We don't have odbc on our server, I tried to locate the odbc addon from Avaya but could not locate it.
Is it available for free or must it be bought at our vendor?

The ODBC Software is supplied to Avaya from Openlink.
will let you download a trial version.
Not sure of any pricing with them, but if it's not free from Avaya I'd bet it's cheaper direct.

Regards
Paul
