Hello all,

I've been having lots of CMM configuration issues. No doubt others have been in this situation before. I managed to get CMM up and running on a distributed environment - Connecting to a MSSQL Server backend. However we have had to change to Oracle.

After the database build I cannot connect to CMM:

Error: Could not connect to the database. 'java.lang.Exception: Stored proc definition for fn_db_version requires 0 IN parameters but call has supplied 1' WHILE 'executing stored procedure 'sp_db_version''

I have re-checked the user-name and psw / host etc.. and have moved onto the following.

in the database after "select * from user_errors"
I have get:

PLS-00201: identifier 'DBMS_LOCK' must be declared
PL/SQL: Statement ignored (repeated 8 times).

In the tl-CMMCD-2.2.632.0(Date).txt log file the only message I can see that might be an issue is:

component version: This component does not have a version.

Can anyone help me..?

I got this sorted. Our permissions were not correct. For
DBMS_LOCK and DBMS_UTIL

For anyone moving to Oracle - make sure you allow enough tablespace in your datastore - Or else it won't build.

And lastly - You can ignore all the warnings during the DB build - Just compile the db scripts after the install.

Well there's some hot tips - Much more to it than installing on SQL Server!
