Hi,
I'm learning about Call Mangager and CME and am trying it in a lab. I've got Call Manager 3.1 and a 2610XM running CME. I've got 4 phones and have registered 2 on the Call Manager and 2 on the CME. They can call within the same device but I cant get them to call from CME to Call Manager and vice versa. They are on different vlans but the connectivity is fine. I've tried setting up a voip dial-peer on the CME pointing to the Call Manager but it wont work. I know I've not set it up properly but I cant find anything about calling between the two. Id be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Many Thanks

You did create a VOIP dial-peer from call manager to CME, but did you create a route pattern so that CCM can get back to CME? you first need to add your CME as a mgcp/h323 gateway, then create a route pattern that points to it.

Thanks to your info I finally got it to work!! I had created a dial peer from the CME to Call Manager but didnt know how to do the reverse. I did as you said by adding the CME as a gateway and then after a little pratting about I got the route pattern to work too! I made a call from my 7920 registered on the CME to a 7940 on the Call Manager and it worked!
Thank you very much for your help....it was driving me bonkers!!!

Thanks again
