A couple of things to check. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/accessibility/soundsentry.asp Do a regedit search for a value "foregroundflashcount" no quotes and see howmany times it is set to flash. Perhaps running the System File Checker program (Sfc /scannow) from the run box may fix up this error. If it only happened recently then System Restore might be able to go back to a point before this started happening. Does this problem occur if you are in Safe Mode? Upvote 0 Downvote
