The cmd.exe keeps flashing on the desktop. The only way to turn it off is to goto system32 folder and remove the cmd.exe.

Any Help???

Generally a program will only flash if it is waiting for a response from you. Then it should only flash 3 times. A couple of things to check.

Do a regedit search for a value "foregroundflashcount" no quotes and see howmany times it is set to flash.

Perhaps running the System File Checker program (Sfc /scannow) from the run box may fix up this error.

If it only happened recently then System Restore might be able to go back to a point before this started happening.

Does this problem occur if you are in Safe Mode?

Thanks I tried everything, but found I had a trojan. If anyone is curious it was BKDR_SDBOT.E.

Thanks for the help.
