I have to use this command alot, not that a huge problem, but when I type cmd the window opens to a G:\ what I would like is a C:\. Any suggestions

Thanks

ours does the same, except it opens with P:\

I just figured it's cuz that's where we point our My Documents folder to.

When you open a command prompt, it opens to your "Home" folder. If your account does not specify a home folder, then you will default to %homedrive%\Documents and Settings\%username%

Try editing the command in the shortcut you use to open CMD to this:

cmd /K C:

as in my case, there is no "shortcut" I use to open cmd, just type in cmd into the run prompt.
