You will need to use local sync if you have no PSTN DS1s. This should not be an issue as the stratum clocks in G4X0s are very good. Clock drift usually won't come into play unless you're send 30min faxes.

Log in to each MG and use 'show sync tim' to see the current settings. If you see the word 'REMOTE' that means that CM is being used to program the sync settings for that site. Use 'set sync ?' to see commands used to control the MGs sync source in the GW.
