Our office deals with a high volume of calls without a console. We are using the 9608 (ext700-720) ip phones with console permission within the COS. The phantom extension are (800-810); however, we are unable to park calls to these phantom extensions. When pressing call-park, for example on ext 700, it parks the calls locally on the ext. What steps would be require to park calls to any of the phantom extensions 800-810?

give each station the cos with console permissions, cha console parameters pg 2 common shared extensions.

Hardware platform? Definity / CM software version?

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"

tech59: each station already have console permissions set within the COS and ext 800-810 are the common shared extensions.

AvayaTier3: System info is an s8800 CM 5.2...

common shared extensions for parking calls are only for attendant groups.
parked calls by stations use the station number for a parked call.

If you want to park calls on common-shared extensions you will have to park calls from an attendant console.
