We have a CM 5.x S8510 with a G450 gateway and we're trying to establish a SIP trunk from it to a third-party SBC. From what I've read a session manager is not needed as long as TCP is chosen in the signaling form. So far we have no success in getting calls in or out, in which traces show a "network fail" denial event.
Would this setup really work? Do we still need a session manager?
