Hi,

i have a Caller ID issue on incoming calls to a CO Trunk on a G350 Gateway which runs CM2.2

The Phone Company sends two numbers for caller id (instead of one) as you can see on the trace which follows.

The number 211560XXXX is the real caller id.
The number 2265021414 is the number dialed to reach the trunk 517
The phones are showing the number 2265021414 for caller id which is not right. The phone company
can't help...
how can i change this to display the 211560XXXX on the 4610 IP Phones?

Best Regards

I read that manual but i couldn't find something to help me.

list trace station for the called station when it is receiving a call for this trunk.

Code:
give the station a couple buttons and try using them:

BUTTON ASSIGNMENTS
 1: call-appr                            5: in-call-id Type: c Grp: 1    (cover-answer)
 2: call-appr                            6: in-call-id Type: h Grp: 1    (hunt-group)

This the station trace (station is 2420 digital set)

14:43:27 Calling party trunk-group 517 member 1 cid 0x27e1
14:43:27 Calling Number & Name NO-CPNumber NO-CPName

14:43:27 ring station 419 cid 0x27e1
14:43:34 idle trunk-group 517 member 1 cid 0x27e1

The buttons not working but the set shows the co line number called (2265021414)

Have you tried an analog phone with a display? Connect the loop start trunk to the phone and see what you get from the provider.

yes I have tested that. i'm getting what I'm supposed to. The number: 211560XXXX

it is also showing in the trace:

==================
list trace tac XXX
12:50:25 Calling party trunk-group 517 member 1 cid 0xb4d
12:50:25 Calling Number & Name NO-CPNumber NO-CPName

>>>>>12:50:27 Category + CPN 1211560XXXX
>>>>>12:50:27 Category + CPN 12265021414
==================

The problem is that i'm receiving those two numbers. Telco sends both numbers (calling & called). Tried to tell them to stop sending the called number but i had no luck. How can i configure the avaya to use the first one number send by the telco? (>>>>>12:50:27 Category + CPN 1211560XXXX) is it related with the multi-frequency setup?

What country does the pbx reside?

What about MDMF and SDMF? can i ask telco to send SDMF? Does Avaya support MDMF on CO Trunks?

Thanks
