Clusters: Drives on second server not detected in disk manager

We are configuring 2 servers in a cluster connecting to an external storage device ( ALL IBM products).

The first server ( Node A) has been configured succesfully and drive letter assigned using Disk Manager in Windows 2000. Node A was shutdown and second server ( Node B0 started up but this does not detect the hard disk drives already configured by Node A.

Any suggestion? Thanks for your prompt help
 
In order to further this, some more details are needed on how the hardware is connected to the shared storage, as thats the most likely area causing the issue ...
 
I have a cluster using (2) Compaq proliant servers with an MSA1000 array. I had to configure each drive on Node 1 then shut it down and configure drives on Node 2 using the same drive letters on Node 2 as Node 1. This allowed Node 2 to see the drives ........
