clusters are not switching

Hi, I have a production box with MSCS on WIn2000, running IIS. Everything was working fine and now all of a sudden I can not switch the clusters from Node2 to node 1. If I manually do, it tries but can not. eventlog doesn't show any problem. Can anyone help me with this?

are u sure nothing in Event log ?
Check both System and Application and also cluster.log in system folder of each node (assuming W2k AdvSrv 2 nodes!).

In Cluster Services applet, check all resources are up on both nodes (Lan connections, cluster connections, etc)
Also for the groups of resources you have defined in cluster services check for preferred node settings.
Carefully check dependencies of resources, if you don't understand dependencies, go to the MS Technet site and find the online docs on MSCS and how depenedncies work.

A final one is something I ran into yesterday, had to restart BOTH nodes when trying to get failback to original node as customer had put both nodes in Preferred Nodes settings after getting confudes with Possible Nodes settings!
