i'm about to install a netware 6 cluster.
both servers will be new hardware.
i was going to run a trustee backup and then install one of the new servers - using the migration wizard but only for the sys to copy - this server holds ca etc so gets the ds and identity across nicely - install clustering services and then create nss volumes and copy other volumes back to it and restore trustees if necessary
first question - is it ok to install clustering services with only one server in place and then get the other one to join?
i assume the other server has a totally different name and then in the login script you use the virtual ip address instead of the server name or can you use a dns name for volume or what do people do?
any tips thoughts appreciated
