Cluster server restore 1

I have a cluster server cls02b and backup was succesful on that server. However, on the day that a restore is needed the drives have failed over to cls01a. I have tried to restore to cls01a without success. The results of the restore are listed below. I DID list cls02a to access cls02b and vice versa. What am I missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you create a NBU exchange admin account on cls02a?

IS ntbu05 in the authorized server list for cls02a?

I'd try these first.

I did not create an Exchange account on cls02a. I don't think that I have to. I have full access to the cluster servers.
NTBU05 is on the authorized list for cls02a.
Grey, any other suggestions...I am really at a loss.

Is cls02a an Exchange server? If so the NBU service must have an Exchange Administrator account.

Nope. It's not an exchange server. It's just a plain old server with user shares on there.

oops u should have used a SAN and shared the array much easier and then ghost the nodes so it can be restored fast

I have learned to ghost all boxes and use backup tapes only for archiving cos its too damn slow.

I centrally store all data on SANS, use volume shadow copy and xcopy to another array so even if a file is lost we have a copy somewhere on disk - hopefully
