Cluster Nokia IP330

Hi,

Please could someone clarify if it is possible to use Nokia Clustering on IPSO 3.7 with just two Nokia IP330's, Checkpoint FW-1 NG FP3?

I am hoping to have the primary fw setup with Enterprise Management, Enforcement Point, and the secondary as an enforcement point.

Both FW's are to be clustered using Nokia clustering, I do not have a seperate management/policy server, so one of the fw's will have to take this responsibility.

I have the following licenses:

cpvp-vig-50-3des-ng cpvp-vps-1-ng fw1:5.0:dbvr_unlimit
cpvp-vig-25-3des-ng cpvp-vps-1-ng fw1:5.0:dbvr_unlimit

Additional... is it possible to use a Nokia VRRP solution as an alternative with these licenses?

Hi,

Yes what you wish to do is possible, but the easiest way would to be just use VRRP and set up a pc as your management station, NOKIA clustering can cause a few issues.
