Cloning saveset error message in version 7.1.2

See below it said cloning went oke, but at the end it says Automatic cloning has failed for 1 clients in the savegroup Voorrang. Please check the daemon.log for details.

The problem is there was nothing in the daemon.log to find wich causes this problem.

has anybody have the same problems with cloing in version 7.1.2

in version 7.1.1 i did not have this problem

Do determine what really happened you have to find out the messages you can rely on - has the cloning taken place or not? Do 2 instances of each save set exist?

mminfo -q "savetime > 1 day ago" -r "name,ssid,pool"

should be able to tell you.
 
Yes cloning has worked perfect, when i look at the output mminfo -q "savetime > 1 day ago" -r "name,ssid,pool"

 
So there is obviously a bogus message. You may now find out why there is a problem reported at all. This is not something what you can investigate in a straight way.

I think the best way to start is to run the group from the command line with more verbosity

savegrp -vvv -G group_name

Be aware that each single file will be listed.
 
Sometime, we have the same problem in version 7.1.3.
Do you find a solution or a reason ?
 
I had this same problem as well on 7.1.2. The savegroup completion emails would say cloning successfull at the top and failed at the bottom. I opened a ticket with Legato and they pointed me to a patch. It seems to have solved issue.

General Cloning Notification Discrepancies

Thank you for sending the log files. I can see in daemon.log errors:

02/26/05 19:00:26 savegrp: Automatic cloning of saveset INFORMIX:/XXXXXXXX during savegroup operation has failed!

while savegrp says group succeeded.

I searched and there is a known issue LGTpa68741. This issue has been resolved in networker 7.1.3 and higher. Can customer upgrade to 7.1.3?

If not, I uploaded the fix for LGTpa68741 for 7.1.2 on Somaris 8 32-bit to:

ftp.legato.com/outgoing/XXXXXXX

Please download and replace it with original binary. Make sure there is no backup is running when replacing. Rename the original for safety.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue.
If resolved, cna I close the case?
