Clone Display problem

I seem to be having the reverse problem to most people.

I have a PC with 2 video cards and monitors. I need to clone the display on both monitors, but all I can get is an extended desktop over both of them.

I have the 'attached' option on the second monitor which is linked to the 'extend desktop...' option so if I enable or disable one of these options the other is enabled or disabled automatically.

So if I uncheck the 'extend desktop...' option the second monitor switches off. The display adaptors are a Cirrus Logic 54xx and a nVidia GeForce 2.

Can anyone help please?

TIA

Is there a reason you have to use 2 adapters? You might be better off with a VGA splitter like this one: They have models that go up to 8 ports. I'm not sure Windows is designed to clone the display.

That might be a solution, but the user of this PC has had it working. I rebuilt it after installing a new network system and it doesn't now work. Maybe it was a Windows 2000 OS before, I'm not sure.

I thought that display cloning was the default option if you have more than 1 adaptor but I've just had to do the same to another PC with a dual-port Matrox card and had to use the Matrox software to get it working.
