All,

We have a lab setup which includes a Nortel Meridian and a Symposium 4.2. The configuration is setup such that the Meridian dictates the clock on the Symposium server. The rest of the lab hosts are configured to synchronize internal clocks to the Meridian server. My only concern with this configuration is correct time; how do we ensure that the Meridian has correct time? Is it someway it can synchronize it's clock over the ISDN/trunks? Or is it maybe possible that PBX time could be enforced from the Meridian server which again could be dictated by an external time source?

Thanks,

THE ONLY WAY THAT I'VE EVER HEARD OF KEEPING THE CORRECT TIME ON THE SWITCH IS TO WRITE A SCRIPT FILE, AND USE SOMETHING LIKE PROCOMM TO GO OUT CHECK THE TIME AND THEN COMPARE IT WITH THE SWITCH.

HI:

The only way I know to adjust meridian in time is a command in LD 2

SDTA x yyyy

where x is the increment positive (1) or negative increment (0)

yyyy is the adjusteent in increment of 100 ms.

TDTA to print the current adjustement

The adjustement is produced during midnight routines.

Capipo.
