Clock Synchronisation

Hi Guys - had a customer ask me today as to whether there is any way of making the clock on the MD110 (digital handset presentation) set itself when this drifts forwards and backwards?
I know I can calibrate the clock but it also drifts after doing that.
Also any ideas on keeping the clock in step with the hour jump forward and back (spring and fall)?

Not a tech question but these guys just keep getting moaned at by the end users!!

you can calibrate the clock,

3 steps :
-> catii;time=xx-xx,date=yyyy-mm-dd,calib=begin;

-> wait 2 weeks (never do a normal catii inbetween)

-> catii;time=xx-xx,date=yyyy-mm-dd,calib=end;


check calibration with cacap

how longer the calibration period, how more precise your clock will be...

Use TTY-Modus in DNA. But isn´t there a new DNA-Function, to set the clock from DNA-Server automatically to the MD110

yes, DNA can do this every night, but is better to have nice calibrated clock...

Guys - as I ever I am endebted to your supreme knowledge - enough grovelling??
The end users have DNA so could you tell me how to set up the nightly update and then the customer has the option for both.....

Then you should simply launch the MD110 support application , the navigation towards the synch feature should be easy to find in the menus.

There exist patches for the day light savings.
Note that they are for Europe where the changes are
made the last sunday in march and october.

Patch 94117 for BC11,
patch 68090 for BC7.2 I think
and patch 68091 for BC8.

If you wish to use the DNA clock synchronisation you must first start the Md TIME service on the server

TSI I htink is the Time System Interface interconnection feature I think.

Service for clock update is MD110 Time Service as eriuser states.
