Clips From AE

Anyone know why...
When I save/render a project in After Effects 5.5pro as a
.avi and open it in Premiere6.5 only the audio shows up?
If I just click on the .avi file in anything else (like
MediaPlayer) it opens and runs fine audio and video.
Any thoughts?

Hey , what you need to do is check your codecs and see the avi format is enabled if not you will have to download a codec , preferably mpeg v2 codec, from pegasus.com

When I export from AE, I tend to export-as-frames, then in Premiere, set the still-import size to 1 frame, then import the folder and place it as a lump.

I'm way old-fashioned, but codec has never been an issue for me.
