Just installed a new server, and trying to run our clipper application with terminal services for accesing from remote locations.
The application runs slow when running it directly in the server (even without the terminal services)
anything to adjust, setup?
PLS HELP

Apart from ensuring that your DOS environment settings
are optomised via CONFIG.NT (DEVICEHIGH=EMM386.EXE NOEMS)
you might check out the antivirus....

Latest Norton AV runs a virus check over every file as it
is opened... this can take a long time with some
Clipper Apps (that customarily have many files and indexes).
Ensure they are EXCLUDED from the automatic virus check or your system will degrade very badly. And even then, the AV
will still cause a general slowdown that is barely
tolerable. I have had to DE-ACTIVATE the Norton AV on
some computers in order to get a reasonable response
from Clipper APps.... then RE-ACTIVATE Norton AV on
completion of the application.
