My app written in 5.2e linked with rtlink uses 100% CPU time on NT4. We are trying to use Compaq terminals with the Data and App sitting on a Terminal Server. With the second terminal logging on the CPU shows 100%. I noticed when I run the App on my workstation (NT4), the App (NTVDM)uses a lot of CPU time. Is this something we have to live with or is there a solution. <br><br>Some help will really be appreciated.<br><br>Thank You<br>

SilvestreAlmanza,

I went to both the sites but the language has got me. Not sure what it says.

Maybe you can e-mail me with the files or explanation.
My e-mail address is fransm@tnet.co.za

Thanks Mate!

SilvestreAlmanza,

I seem to have sorted the problem out thanks to the Website at I used OSLIB.LIB with OL_AUTOYIELD(.T.) as you said. I hope that was all that was needed. If I should take anything else in consideration please let me know.

Thanks Mate!

For Windows NT the following apparently works:

Set the app properties, idle activity = high

It does not work for Windows 2000 though. For Windows 2000
as well as for Windows NT you can use OL_Autoyield() function set to .t. It is a part of OSLIB.Lib.
This function reduces the CPU utilization by 30-50 %.
This lib can do downloaded from OASIS website.
