Hello,
I have a Windows XP pro laptop client for our Win 2k domain who is connected in the office 75% of the time. The NIC is configured for DHCP.
However, this user often leaves the office and connects to the internet a cable modem at home, where of course the domain services are unavailable. This is fine...but the side effect is the computer runs very slowly when browsing the machine through windows explorer or using office applications.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance
