Clients dont show on the SSC Console!

ok i need to fix this, and soon!.

we have abt 270 clients, using Symantec Client Security and the server. however the Sysmantec System Center Console does not show all the clients, is there anyway i can repair the installations directly from the server instead of goin one by one.

no 2. im always checking the updates and sometimes do it manually to really keep it up to date, however i noticed that some of the clients are offline, but the surprising part is that the client is actually being used by a user who sits behind me and is actually online!. this does not happen to only one person, but quite a number.

Hi

For you first problem, are you able to do a NT push install from your console to the machines to redo the installation? This is assuming you choose to install the client install option from the Admin tools.

For the second problem, i have experienced the same thing before. I copied the GRC.dat file from the server to the machines and then rebooted the machine. This seems to have fixed the problem for me.

For #2, remember the SSC is not a "live" display, it shows status as of the last time the client checked in and can be hours behind real time.
