Hello,
I am having a problem with my DHCP vlans where if I move a laptop from one vlan to another the old address is not being released. I am using a windows 2003 server using dhcp superscopes 10.10.10.x,10.10.20.x,10.10.30.x etc..
If I manually relase the address and then renew, the client is assigned the old address. The only way I've found to fix the problem is temporarily assign the old address to a bogus MAC which is unacceptable. I've tried setting scope options to clear ARP cache but that didn't work.
Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks,
Bob
