you need to have your environment setup, including a DHCP Server and a TFTP server. You can manually address the phones, but its a real pain because it takes multiple reboots to get the phone upgraded, and it will lose the IP information between reboots. DHCP is HIGHLY recomended. You also need to setup SSON (Site Specific option) 176 onthe DHCP server. Its all in the documentation. I would also test the environment by upgrading the phone firmware to the latest release of the H323 firmware first, then you can setup your 46xxupgrade.scr file to be "shared", and if you then set the "Group" on the phone to "876" (VPN), the VPN firmware will load. you need to do some reading, or ask a specific question.
