I need to load the client software on a number of Windows clients with very little disc space. I need to know what the disc space requirements are for the client installation so I don't cause a problem and I can't find it anywhere. Can someone help me please?

Thanks,

The actual installation size is rather small however the operational size can get very significant. Gotchas include logfiles and caching. You do NOT have to install it on the C:\ drive and if you haave small disks I suggest placing it on another drive.

The computer I was worried about had 198 MB on c:\ so I installed it on d:\. I still ran into a problem. After install, there was only 14 mb left on c:\. This is not good. I tried to uninstall and couldn't. the error message read there wasn't enough disk space to uninstall. I am at a loss. What can I do. I have to resolve this quickly.

You could look for other files to delete off of drive C:. Some include MEMORY.DMP in the WINDOWS folder (if it exists).

Also you could consider moving the PAGEFILE.SYS off the system disk or deleting it altogether.

I have loeded it on a few clients now and kept an eye on space. I loaded the client on D: and it still used about 180 Mb on the system drive.
