On an NT4 Workstation, I can't get CSNW to startup. I get a "service is disabled" message, but everywhere I check, the service appears to be enabled. I checked all of the protocols, services, devices, and bindings against a similar machine that can get CSNW to startup and connect to the Novell network, and they are identical. Is there something that I'm overlooking? I also could suspect the NIC or network jack (we just had a bunch of re-wiring done). I'm relatively new to NT and would appreciate any suggestions that anyone could give me.
Thanks in advance,
The only thing I can this of is Start/settings/control panel/services pick the service in question and check the startup button and the HW profiles button. These shou both be enabled. What account is the service starting with? do you have even peer to peer communication with other NT machines?
