Need to bring my application in a network environment
Did this forum ever cover a sample client (code) server (code) application or do you know of a link where to get a quick tutorial I have an idea of a client server application using Java (RMI and CORBA).. Or is there any simple way to create a distributed application using VFP to be used on a simple window 98 or win NT network.

Thanks for your help

First, you don't need to go to Client/Server to run a networked multi-user app with VFP (or any other version of FoxPro). That being said, there are three places I know of to start researching VFP C/S development.
1) Go to the MS VFP Articles ( and look at "Client/Server Development", and "COM and ActiveX Development".
2) Go to and choose the Technical Papers link at the left bottom. Read "N-Tier Application Design"
3) Go to and buy this book - "Client-Server Applications w/h Visual FoxPro and SQL Server"
