I am trying to do a directed recovery of a client that has been backed up for months. When I go to choose the client to recover from the list within Networker User it is not shown in the list!?

Any Ideas?

How are you logged in? does that user have access to the other clients index thru remote access field?

Logged in as admin, Remote access is set to *@*

What operating systems and NetWorker versions are involved on all three systems, if you are using all three, (administer, source, and dest). Can you see the client index in question if you are not doing a directed recover, but just regular?
Have you looked at it from command line?

Cheers

Make sure the username you're logged in with is on the administrators list in Networker (Setup server) together with the hostname of the server you're logged on.
For example: admin@destinationhost
