running windows 200 server :: The user is the owner of the folder, and all the permissions are set correctly, but when the user is on a windows 2000 client, they cannnot write to thier network drive...we are using tight group policy settings...maybe it is something with that, although we took the computer out of the OU, so the policy would not effect the computer, which worked, yet they still could not write to thier networked drive...only if the user belonged to the administrator group could the user write to the drive...but we cannot allow that on our network..Thanks!
