This is the msg I get when trying to add users to exchange server 2003. I am using XP workstations and Windows Server 2003.

"The name could not be resolved, the connection to the microsoft exchange server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action". I am using Outlook 2003.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

How are you trying to connect? Exchange service, POP3, IMAP, RPC over HTTP?

I'm trying to connect via Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (Client). Thx

Under the tools - email accounts what server type?

Exchange Server
POP3
IMAP
HTTP
Additional Server Types

Assuming your IP address settings for subnet etc are correct, is your primary DNS server on your client set to the address of your first Domain Controller (usually the internal DNS server)?

Claudius (What certifications??)

This is the Exchange 2000 forum, try the Exchange 2003 forum.

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.
