Hi

I am trying to configure apache to allow clients coming from AOL, using AOL browsers to see a particular site.

I want apache to redirect clients not using AOL clients to aol.com.

Is this possible? I understand I may to configure my web server to examine the HTTP User-Agent field. They recommend we use the "Vary:" HTTP Header.

Can any give me some help to get me started?

Thank you.

Tricky1234,

What you probably need to do is identify the clients by their IP, and if not coming from the pool of IP's assigned to AOL, redirect. You could do this in PHP, but I don't think that AOL users are restricted to one browser that they have to use, so the user agent wouldn't necessarily filter out the AOL users.

Can this be done just by 'permitting' users with certain IP address range to see the page - in the apache host config?
