Hi All

In case we have to reboot our Networker Server we always
have to re-connect the Novell Clients manually to the
backup server. Networker Server is Win2K running Legato
Networker 6.1.3, Clients are Novell NetWare 6 SP2 with
Legato Client for NetWare 4.21 installed.
Does anyone know how to re-connect the Clients automatically ?

Thx in advance

This should not be necessary. Make sure that RCMDSVR.NLM
is loaded and connects to your NW server.

Hi 605 !

Well, if I reboot the NetWare box the Legato Client
starts up automatically and connects to the backup server.
This works fine.
But in case we reboot the backup server, the client looses
the connection and does not re-connect automatically.
We always have to do this manually. Of course rcmdsrv.nlm
is still up then.
Any ideas ?

Not really. Even if it looses the connection the service
should be able to react on server requests.

However, i looked through my files and i found an entry that
points to a problem with NETWORKR.NLM which is the NW admin
"GUI" for Netware. If you do not load it, obviously the
error will not occur.

Please remark the appropriate line "load networkr.nlm" in
the startup script "sys:system\networkr.ncf" and let me
know whether it solved the problem.

You can use a delay command in autoexec.ncf like
LOAD DELAYCMD 300 "Networkr.ncf"
