Dear All,
I have been using the Client Authentication on NG and have got the authentication working via http.. users are able to authenticate this way.. I get the message "Firewall 1 message: User authorized for standard services (1 rules)"
I have a rule on my rulebase for all users going to any and any service to Client Authenticate so they should be able to get anywhere.
However, I can't seem to get to any servers, I try to run \\server1\software and nothing happens.. nor does my drive mappings work.. anyone have any ideas on how to work this on NG?
I have used Secure Remote and this works but we want a way in which doesn't use that program..
Many thanks
ps. Do I need the Secure Remote licences installed on the firewall even though I'm not authenticating through it?

securremote is free, if you use secureclient you do.,

Manual - Client Authentication can only occur via Telnet to the FireWall-1 gateway on port 259, or via HTTP to port 900 through a Web browser. The requested URL must include the gateway name and the port number, for example The other methods in this list also allow for manual authentication.

Look thru the client authentication help you will see more details:
