when clicking on my desktop shortcut to activate a AS00 client access "green screen" or login screen, the splash screen freezes and the screen never comes up. If I end the MHQ.exe process in the task manager then the client access login screen suddenly comes up and works fine. I am trying to figure out what is this MHQ.exe which is located in c:/windows/prefetch. I delete it but it comes back. If I restart the process runs again.

Can't find any info on MHQ.exe either but it's not on my PC nor running as a task, even though client access installed and running.

My guess is that you've got a bit of spyware (or worse) on board and suggest you run some antispyware and antivirus software to see if it gets rid of it.

I have done both antispyware and AV and the spyware scan, adware, did detect about 400 critical object and I have deleted them but the mhq.exe still exist and still causeing the conflict.

Did you run adaware and spybot from safe mode. Many malware executible, and reg entries will not be cleaned up in regular windows mode.

Since it keeps coming back my guess is that it's set up in the registry to install on startup. If technome's suggestion does not work search the resistry with regedit for MHQ and delete any registry entries you find.
