Ever since we had an additional T1 added when calling out it is showing up as an international call ie +1XXXXXXXXXX. This is causing it so that when our employees are trying to call back that it is trying to dial 011 and the number. Is there a simple way to fix this? We are using an Option 11 Switch.

try putting a DGT on the RLB programming and setting the TYPE as NPA. Don't put anyting in the DEL or INST fields This may clean it up. What type of trunk did you install?

so if you dial 210-555-1212, find out what RLI controls this call.

Then in the RLB look for DGT in the print out and put the newly created DGT number there.

i'm not real familiar with the option 11. Can you direct me to the RLB programming?

To look at which RLI something is going out you would go to LD 90 and print out the NPA (Long Distance) or NXX (local)

Ok, i'm bored and have some time.

* = items you will type in

OVL000
>ld 90

ESN000

As an example I am just going to do the one for RLI 4.

Then go to ld 86

>ld 86

If you have a 0 there then you just need to build a DMI in ld 86.

MEM AVAIL: (U/P): 626945 USED U P: 354842 83172 TOT: 1064959
DISK RECS AVAIL: 1152

FEAT dgt*
DMI 5*<-- or whatever number you are going to use

CTYP npa* (you can try NCHG first to see if this fixes the problem. On some MEGACO circuits you need to put this in for the CLID to work)

MEM AVAIL: (U/P): 626943 USED U P: 354842 83174 TOT: 1064959
DISK RECS AVAIL: 1152

Then go back and change the RLB (4) and under each ENTR entry change the DMI to whatever DMI number you created.

What you can do is turn on dchannel messaging and it should tell you what protocol it's using to dial out. Once you make this change you should see the outbound go out as an NPA call for LD and this should fix your problem.

Check the NTPs for the different options for CTYP and add them to the RLBs for NXX's and SPN's.

Hope this helps. I would create a single RLB for a single NPA and make the changes there first to make sure it is working the way you want then you can make the change global after it's working. This way you only effect (or is it affect) a single NPA with the changes.

I'd be looking at the INTL prompt in LD21 REQ PRT TYPE CLID
