I have an Option 11 and would like to display the DID numbers when callers are calling out. They have different NXX numbers and most of the phones are using the default CLID of 0. How can this be done with the default CLID of 0 without programming a CLID for each phone? Thanks

The only way I know would be to build one for each group of NXX's and use the DID number as the key 0 DN.

EX 334-677-9999
Build CLID table for 334 677, say yes to DIDN prompt.
Then use key 0 SCR 9999. for each DID set

Repeat for each different NXX grouping of numbers.

I am trying not to reprogram a large number of sets. If CLID 0 could allow the DID number to be sent then this would solve the problem since all the sets are programmed with CLID 0.

Clid 0 will allow the DID to be sent, but the NXX won't be right if you're using two different ones... The only way to change that would be to build another CLID entry and assign the phones from the other NXX to it

You can build a spreadsheet and use a script to make changes to many sets easy. No other way around but changing them with multiple NXX's.

Do you have OTM? If so you can do a global change and it will do the work for you.

Please verify that this will work. All DID with 416-972-xxxx
should display to the outside as 416-972-xxxx. Let me know so that I can start programming the sets with CLID 20. (Do I need to say YES to the ESA prompts?). Thanks

ENTRY 20
HNTN 416
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN YES
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 972
DIDN YES
HLOC
LSC
CLASS_FMT DN

yes, this will work and yes to the ESA prompts, those are for emergency services. Do you have the ESA built in LD24?

You will send the DID number for E911 (if ESA is configured)

[!]Make sure you do not use this CLID table for non-DID numbers! You will end up sending out a number that is not yours. Also make sure the "D" is programmed on all rollover lines on the phones[/!]
