I hope this is the correct forum for this dilemma - here goes:

Callers in our White Plains office are making calls to '917' area code from their system.........which then routes the call out from our Manhattan office. The problem is that only the last 4 (four) digits of the callers number is showing up on the 'called party's' display. We are using the CS1000 (Succession)/81C.
If this makes sense to anyone - do you have any ideas as to why this may be happening only with our '917' people?

Thanks ahead.

is this hitting a tie? if a tie is marked as internal, i've seen 4 digits along with name.. or it;s an external trunk, i would look at the far end, ld 96 enl msgi on the d, that would show the clid that your sending.. enl msgo x on your outbound dch will show what your sending...

but your sending all digits

Hi John. I believe you have helped me (and countless others) in the past.
I mentioned the 2 scenarios to the 'techs that be' - and one of them replied that because this is a 'Succession/CS1000M' System - it probably has more to do with the Sig-Server for eg.
Do you agree with this - and whatever your answer - why or why not? (And, YES! - I am looking to utilize your suggestions either way). Thanks again.
