Hello,

When I get an Incoming call the CLID doesn't show the leading zero's.
It will show 23456789 when the full number would be 023456789 local or 0023456789 international.

It is very difficult to immediately detect local from international calls on the spot because of this.

Probably this is a silly question but I can't seem to find where to change the setting.

Any help would be most appreciated

Thanks
Michaël

Not a silly question, In whick country are you?
if you would receive a call from canada, would you see "011514XXXXXXX"?
You can modify the number using the dialing translation table in call pilot for outbound calling but other then modifying the received number in a call accounting third party software i dont know how you could modify it.
Really not sure if it's possible..

The BCM50 is located in Belgium,
Strangely enough when I test this with a Forum 500 PBX then I see the zeroes appear. So I would think the BCM50 is filtering it ... but if so, where ?

I don't recall any filtering settings, It's probably hardcoded in the CoreTel.
I would give Nortel a call.

the ETSI standard for Cli presentation does not sent the leading 0's but flags a call as either National or International

there must be a setting somewhere in the BMC to process thiss, unfortunatly it is not a switch I personaly work on

Unfortunately I don't seem to find any setting on the BCM50 where I would be able to change it. Also call reporting seems to be missing the leading zeroes, any ideas anyone ?

Thanks

What is the version of BCM 50? (1.0 - 2.0 - 3.0)
If i remember well there is a patch in the Nortel Website for a CLID issue, try to download and install the last service update.

It is a BCM R3 and I have installed the latest SU but no change ... the '0's are still missing

Sry, just checked the issue, that patch is for CTI apps, the BCM send wrong CLID...
