Does anyone know if there is a way for the IPC system to set a Type of Number to National?
Currently the IPC calls transit through a CS1000 via QSIG ISGF link but when they hop off to PSTN CLID defaults to the bearer number. We receive the correct digits but the TON is always UNKNOWN rather than NATL.

That would depend on the type of PSTN connection, PRI, BRI or SIP, and the provider's policy with regards to outgoing CLID being something other than what the account has established with the provider.

Sorry, issue is that when the call is initiated from the IPC dealerboard it comes across a tie link to the CS1000 with a TON of UNKNOWN.
Then when it is passed to PSTN it carries this forward and CLID fails.

I want the IPC Dealerboard system to send a TON of NATL (or NPA) is this possible?

Thank you for your time so far

TON, type of number? Please explain, I have not seen that term previously...

NPA = Numbering Plan Area or Area Code.
