hi, just want to ask anyone who has experienced a clicking sound on phones in the expansion cabinet. i've isolated the problem and it is only happening at the expansion cabinet. i already tried removing all the line cards and returning them one by one but still i couldn't trace what is causing it. I also noticed that I'm getting a BUG4216 on the TNs in the second cabinet. i hope you can help us before we try powering down the whole option 11 system and resetting the fiber receive cable.

i had that problem once, look at your fiber in the dark, you should see a bright spot, bad fiber board or rec card will do the same thing

Someone had this same problem a couple of months ago. Try a search and see if they got it solved. I don't remember.

it's the fiber! i tried changing it last nite and the clicking sound went away. i don't remember seeing a red light on both ends of the fiber when they are already plugged in. thank you all for your help.
