Clicking on PRI

I have a customer with a MICS 5.0 and PRI complaining about a clicking sound when they are on the phone. I have never had this problem and didn't know if someone has had the same issue.

Clicking and popping are usually a result of the clock slipping. Did this problem just start or is this something that has been going on since you’re turned up the PRI. The reason I ask is because there were issues with some 5.0 and PRI. Someone here should have the SRN and can tell you what the problems were.

The system has been running for 4+ years with no problems. This has just started within the last few weeks.

If that the case then if you have an extra Service Card maybe change it out. The clocking comes from either a Service Card or a Combo Card. So in order I would
Make sure it's not Telco's problem
Change Patch Cable
Change Clock Card
Change T1 Card

try a reboot then the patch cord...cheap and may solve problem
