Hello,
is it possible to click through a form?
It is not important to me if I can't move my form after that.

My form is half transparent, if this matters.

Thank you for your answers!

I mean click symbols, objects, icons under the form.

Semi transparent form over the desktop, you want to pass the click to whatever is under the form?

It would be possible, but a bit tricky. Chances are it would be flakey at best.

Is the form the same size as the entire desktop, or is it smaller? Will you need to pass double clicks, single clicks or both? Right clicks too? What about mouse downs (drag/drop activity)?

Can you give me a little more info on why you're doing this? If I understand why you're wanting to do it, I might be able to produce a more effective solution...

My form is about 200twips x 200twips small.
This program is a information program, I only look at it. I never interact with it. (menu, buttons, etc.)
I want to do everything, what I can do on the Windows desktop (right-click, left-click, double-click)

So the idea is to always see it, but it's never "in the way".

Interesting. I'll have to toy around with some ideas tonite when I get home. Will post results later!

BUT! What if you took whatever information you are viewing and add it to a bitmap, then post that bitmap as your background image? Update it when needed?

or you could hide the form when the mouse is over it, and then make it visible when the mouse moves away.
just a thought...

Well yeah, what he said!

@TheTuna
well how can I do that with a bitmap?
that would be enough, if it can be transparent, and I can click through.

Actually, I like KryzSoccer's suggestion of hiding the form when the mouse is over it. This is how you want to do it.

Well, it is okay, but I don't like it. Because it's a little bit disturbing when my form always hides and unhides.
How can I do that with the bitmaps? Is this method difficult?

Thank you

Jamie,
great link. It gave me something to mull over for a project.
